Marrakech

Busy busy trying to organise things for our impending trip to Marrakech to celebrate our 5th anniversary. At the moment I am waiting to hear back from a guide regarding trekking into the Sahara (the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga) on camels. It's all very exciting and I can't wait to go. A trip like this, even for a relatively short period, takes more organisation that I had anticipated. Still, we're getting there slowly and having fun in the planning. Roll on the departure date...

can't you find anything else to write abuot except for yourself?

This is a blog about myself, as I believe the title box of the blog indicates. I write about myself, my life and my thoughts. No-one forces anyone else to read it. If you don't like it, don't read it.

You seem to have a lot of money.

I think I might be missing your point.

For a trainee solicitor or whatever. Living in Primrose Hill, dinner at Blake's (I saw the prices!), Morocco, etc.

For a trainee solicitor, or whatever

I think you're labouring under a misapprehension. I don't think it matters how much money someone has. What I do think matters is making sure that one has ones facts correct.

She isn't a trainee solicitor. You havent been reading carefully if you don't know that one of her main goals is to GET a training contract. No idea what she's doing at the moment! Primrose Hill has cheap parts, but a 1 bedroom isn't that expensive anyway if it's split between 2. And wasnt the Blakes dinner a work party for her boyfriend? And Morocco is one of the easiest places to get cheap flights to, and everything there is so so cheap.

I dont think she comes across as rich, particularly, just as someone who likes to spend her whole income and isn't really bothered about saving. Just like every other 20-something in London then!

Thank you for your speculations and to anon 7:42am for clearing up the situation...

Just because someone lives in Primrose Hill does not mean that they are a princess. If you actually knew Rach then you would know that she works bloody hard. You don't always get exactly what you want in life. Rach did really well at law school but London's incredibly competitive and its a shame that the people who really deserve to succeed often have to spend a long time getting there. Marrakech happens to be the first holiday that Rach and M have been able to treat themselves to in 3 1/2 years. Don't make assumptions about people. She's actually alright, although VERY messy. (Obviously she didn't pay me to write this)
