Via Maryam in Marrakech I discovered The Year of Living Gorgeously. It is full of tips and recipes and ideas as to how to make your life and your house gorgeous. They also run monthly photography competitions, in which I have entered my photographs of Regent's Park. Ihope they will not mind me using their photograph above but I just love the way that the books are colour-coded. I might have to try that myself...

I am sure they won't mind, they'll be flattered! And so glad you entered your pics! Yay!
I wonder how it's possible to 'live gorgeously'. Strange concept- sounds like more magazine-speak to me.
the year of thinking about myself- again
Probably along the same lines as 'authentic living'...
anonymous is so mean. where's me washboard??
anonymous is mean. but where is this post about women and children??!
The Women and Children post is in draft form and I am still writing it... Sadly I have to work which limits my writing time and have also been away for the weekend. Am hoping to finish it this week. Glad people are looking forward to reading it!
I'm looking forward to it too. Why does your boyfriend support Liverpool?
For the same reason that most boys support teams I suppose. His whole family is from Liverpool and they all (M, his brother, his parents and grandparent)therefore support Liverpool. You didn't think he was a London boy, did you?
No, I read his family live in Shropshire. That's good. When I lived in London I despaired of people from London supporting teams like Man Utd and Liverpool. I think they should support their local teams. But it's a free world ...
Well, his parents live in Shropshire now, but the family as a whole is from Liverpool.
Personally, I have no objection to what teams people support as long as they do not fight, brawl or kill each other when participating in football related activities. I can though, see that it is important to some people that there is more than an arbitary thought given to the choice of team and that it is not a choice made through who is top of the league (or whatever).
Through many years of supporting football I have. touch wood, managed to avoid trouble, through good fortune and choosing my friends carefully.
yup, looking forward to reading it - although it had better be good after all this writing time!!!
